Set on the site of the old Subiaco Pavilion Markets, the One Subiaco apartment complex will have 242 apartments and is expected to be completed in September 2022.

Touted as luxury residences, a customary wording targeting the high-end buyers, this may very well be one of the few apartment developments that will actually live up to it.

This development comprises of three apartment buildings: Rokeby, Roberts and Seddon, each with their own unique architectural style. World-class resort style rooftop facilities include a heated pool, cabanas, fitness centre, sauna, outdoor lounge, urban orchard, bbq's and an alfresco area, amongst other amenities including a private dining room for residents and a cocktail lounge.

The top floor penthouse broke the sales record in July 2020, being sold for $17 million. The 1300sqm, six-bedroom apartment includes access to nine car bays as well as sweeping views of the Swan River, Perth CBD and the Indian Ocean.

DAP/18/01530: 10 Rokeby Road + 375 Roberts Road. Development of a 24 storey mixed use building. Approved on 22/02/2019. $120,000,000.

#63 CRANE - ONE SUBIACO APARTMENTS (no.2 - 3rd)

Returning to the second crane on the One Subiaco construction site, I'm now equipped with my first real pro Canon camera. Of course, it's going to take such a long time to really learn how to use it and it's frustrating, for the moment, how the iPhone seems to take photos that are so much better.

At times, my new camera feels like it defeats the purpose of buying one.

Two things so far are certainly obvious with the Canon: the Rio Tinto wording on top of the skyscraper is now readable, rather than the usual blur, as seen in my previous photos. Secondly, no more lens flare everytime there's a strong light source in the photo!

Regardless, these photos are a mix of the two.
