Two four-storey mansions are currently under construction on a 539sqm block of land in Jutland Parade with a seven-storey mansion in between them.
The seven-level home has 3,500sqm of interior space, which is the same floor space as a big supermarket, the new Perth library or 15 average-sized homes. The three levels below are reserved for living space, which include five or six bedroom suites with a fourth level for parking 16 cars. The three levels below are for storage including for a boat, which leads out to a private jetty. Construction is believed to cost an approximate $21 million.
Both twin four-storey homes either side of it are 2,800sqm, which also include three levels of living space and a fourth level for parking up to 16 cars.
The development began in 2016 but stopped for three days, when the building permit expired on July 9, 2018. The owners applied for a further extension and were initially refused, based on the allegations they'd built staircases, an amphitheatre and a retaining wall that was not on the approved plans.
The three mansions have now been under construction for five years.
