With 12 luxury apartments over six storeys, the Parade Como claims to, as always, be one of Perth's most in demand boutique developments with its three bedroom, two bath and two car parking bays.
Fantastic views of the bustling Kwinana Freeway will surely keep anyone awake and ready to tackle life in lieu of a peaceful night's rest. Depending on the quality of the building materials and double-glazing of the windows which, presumably became a mandatory standard when the construction plans were being drawn up. Speaking of which, the promotional descriptions of this exciting residential development includes 'ample windows to take in the stunning surrounding views.' What a fantastic feature to help you see so much more of the freeway, as well as an abundant of current and future apartment construction sites which no doubt, will decrease some parts of your enjoyable view over the next 10 years.
Perhaps a few apartments will be lucky enough to sight the Swan and Canning Rivers in the distance, which may be close enough to cop a good salting on any balcony plants and drying laundry, as well as winds that will rush you off your feet but hopefully not off the balcony!
The 122sqm complex includes a lap pool, two levels of security as well as the standard intercom and gated access for optimum safety.
No estimated completion time has been confirmed. The development cost is an estimated $4,500,000.

Perhaps I was a little too ruthless in my description of The Parade Como some months ago and ought to give credit where it's due. Despite being night time and the installation of power still something that won't take place for awhile, the feel of walking around inside this construction site was actually quite nice.
There was something about it. Aside from being fairly warm, considering the onset of a 4.2 degree morning was nearing outside, I instantly felt a sense of homeliness. I know from my past experiences of living in accommodation that at times, was rather below par, that you could make any place feel so homely. Despite this apartment complex certainly being nowhere near below par, I use this as an example when reflecting on its close proximity to the busy and noisy freeway and highway, which could be rather unpleasant at times.
Without any trade or construction qualifications (other than a few years of construction experience myself as a TA and my father being a very talented and successful architect, in which I would study his floor plans), I certainly felt a sense that this building was of a very high quality standard. Sure that may sound something worth laughing at, considering a 'high quality standard' being an almost guaranteed description touted in the promotional material but in reality, there are some builds that are certainly way off the mark.
I have visited quite a few questionable sites over the past year and one just has to take a look at the investigation segments on the news networks to further support the occurrences of this happening, however infrequent it may be.
If one was to close all the doors and windows, aside from the revving of bogans drag racing down the Kwinana Freeway and emergency service sirens, the tenants world would be rather silent and peaceful. It gives a new realism to the description of 'living in a bubble'. Surrounded by beautifully finished, high quality furnishings in very spacious living areas. This would be a very satisfying place to live, even to the extent of luxurious.
There have been some apartment complexes built to enjoy fantastic widespread views, only to have these destroyed with further builds in close proximity. Aside from a pending five-storey apartment across the road on Paterson Street (DAP/18/01475), all the balconies will still enjoy a view.
Some suburbs are dangerous and frightening to live in. Como is a very safe and pleasant suburb.
The benefits of living in an apartment complex such as The Parade Como, I would have to admit, certainly outweighs the negatives. Hence my newly stated opinion, diverting from what I have previous written.
