Construction of Bethesda Health Care's new private mental health service south of the river has recently commenced (June 2021). The innovative mental health system of care will encompass 40 beds, a mental health and wellbeing centre as well as consulting suites.

Located in Cockburn Central West, close to the train station and Kwinana Freeway, completion is expected to be in late 2022.
